 About the Artist

I am very excited about my works on paper. I use color pencils to draw positive/negative images in a realistic/abstract format, making the realistic foreground image strong, yet mostly empty, while the negative background is rendered in texture, emphasizing color and composition. One of my favorite techniques is to draw strong color lines around the principal images to give them depth and vibrancy. I also tend toward simple, natural, and unusual views and perspectives. The results are drawings of animals, waterfalls, or storm clouds that engage the viewer and fit into most modern living environments.                         read more
